About this tool
International gold prices are quoted per troy ounce (XAU/USD) in US dollars. The gram price in Turkey is derived from the ounce price, the USD/TRY rate and the ounce-to-gram conversion. One troy ounce is exactly 31.1034768 grams (the ordinary ounce is 28.35 g; do not confuse them).

- Gold price per gram (TRY) = ounce price × USD/TRY / 31.1034768
- Total value (TRY) = ounces × ounce price × USD/TRY
Example: with an ounce price of 2,000 USD and a rate of 30, 24-karat gold costs 2,000 × 30 / 31.1034768 = 1,929.0448 TRY per gram; 1 troy ounce equals 31.1035 g and 60,000.00 TRY.
Example 2: 10 troy ounces at an ounce price of 2,650.75 USD and a rate of 34.2 give 311.0348 grams; a gram of gold is 85.2236 USD and 2,914.6468 TRY, and the total value is 906,556.50 TRY. These figures are computed from the example inputs only, not current market values.
How to read the result The gram price in USD and TRY is the ounce price and rate you entered, converted per gram; if those inputs are not current, neither is the result. Total value is the TRY equivalent of the troy ounce amount you entered; leave the amount at 1 if you only want the gram price.
