About this tool

A sole proprietor must cover Bağ-Kur premiums, accounting fees, rent and similar fixed costs every month, even without income. This tool adds them up and shows the annual and daily fixed cost, so you can see how much revenue the business needs each month just to stay afloat.

Formulas

  • Monthly total = Bağ-Kur + Accounting + Stamp/ledger + Rent + Other
  • Annual total = Monthly total × 12
  • Daily fixed cost = Annual total / 365

Amounts are rounded to 2 decimals, half up (HALF_UP). Add annual payments divided by 12 to the monthly items. All amounts are values you enter; the Bağ-Kur premium depends on the income bracket you choose, so the tool suggests no default.

Example 1: Bağ-Kur TRY 9,000, accounting 2,500, stamp/ledger 500, rent 5,000 and other 1,000 give TRY 18,000.00 a month, TRY 216,000.00 a year and about TRY 591.78 a day.

Example 2 (amounts with decimals): Bağ-Kur 1.25, accounting 2.50, stamp/ledger 3.75, rent 4.00 and other 5.50 give a monthly total of 17.00, an annual total of 204.00 and a daily cost of 0.56.

How to read the result: The monthly total is the fixed burden you must cover even if you make no sales. The annual total is for budgeting, and the daily fixed cost shows the level of cost to be covered every day. Use the result as fixed cost in break-even calculations or carry it to the fixed/variable split tool. Income tax, VAT and variable costs are not included, so your real fixed burden may be higher than this result.

How to use

  1. Enter the monthly amount for each item; leave missing items at 0.
  2. Add annual payments divided by 12.
  3. Use the same VAT basis for all amounts.
  4. Press Calculate.

Notes

Amounts are rounded HALF_UP to two decimals. The annual total uses 12 months and the daily cost 365 days. All inputs are yours.
