About this tool
Withholding tax reduces the return you keep. This tool uses the period return and withholding rate to find the net return and the return lost to tax, or the gross rate needed for a target net return. With inflation it shows the real net return; with an amount it shows TRY values.
How to use
- Choose gross-to-net or net-to-gross.
- Enter the period return and the withholding rate.
- Optionally enter an amount and inflation for the same period, then press Calculate.
Notes
Return and inflation must refer to the same period. Real return = (1 + net) / (1 + inflation) − 1.
