About this tool

Turkish property tax (emlak vergisi) is a per-mille rate on the tax value set by the municipality, depending on the property type: residential, other buildings, building plots and fields. Rates are increased within metropolitan municipalities. The tax is paid in two equal instalments.

How to use

  1. Enter the property's tax value.
  2. Choose the property type.
  3. Keep the metropolitan switch on if applicable and press Calculate.

Notes

Rates and the metropolitan multiplier are kept with source and effective date. The second instalment absorbs the rounding difference.
